About Pitch Fibre Pipework
Pitch Fibre pipework is a notoriously poor product installed from the 1940s through to the late 1970s.

Previously the only option available for remedial action was excavation, both costly and time consuming. However, recent advancements now mean that deformed or de-laminated pitched fibre can be repaired, thus making significant saving in time and cost.

What is the solution?
The pitch fibre pipework can be 're-rounded' using a Winch and metal pigs. A liner is then applied to provide internal structural support, restoring it to use. This process can be completed within a single working day - a financially attractive and hassle-free alternative to complete pipework renewal.

How can DRC help?

DRC has a Pitch Fibre Re-rounding Kit available for hire.

The DRC Re-rounding Kit will re-shape partially collapsed pipes from 50mm to 250mm.
